a hero’s homecoming: really great japanese food, build-your-own pile of sorbet and bits, and dillinger four/big eyes/nato coles/the slow death at the triple rock.

eating with the family: andy and i made veggie loaf, potatoes, roasted asparagus, and vegan pound cake with lime glaze and fruitz. then, there was a fire at the red lentil but i’m totally cool with that (no offense, red lentil) because we ended up at a place down the street with vegan ethiopian food. stubborn italian grandmother: the only one not stoked on eating with our hands. a lot of things are “stupid” to her these days. as usual, i had to promise to get married before she would let us leave.
